Story time with Author: Al Reeder

Join us in welcoming author, Al Reeder, to Main Street Books! Al will read his children's book, Stanley's Colors. Stanley the snail is an artist who dreams of painting the bright colors of the day, but his fear of birds keeps him hiding in the shadows. He tries to find a way to live out his dream without facing his fears, but in the end he has to make a decision. Come along with Stanley on his journey toward light and color!

Al Reeder writes stories and practices law in western North Carolina where he lives with his wife Julie, his children Katie and Joseph, and a wolf-dog named Rufus. He has lived in nine states from Georgia to California and has worked milking cows in Galilee and teaching English to college students in northern China. Besides writing stories, Al loves learning languages, traveling, and cooking spicy food.
