Christmas in Davidson

An annual holiday tradition since 1988, Christmas in Davidson kicks off the holiday season offering three magical nights of holiday family fun. Each night, Main Street Books will offer complimentary warm drinks and treats to anyone who wishes to defrost while browsing and meeting local authors.

Main Street Books will host a book drive each night for the Ada Jenkins Center’s longest running program, LEARN Works, which serves local elementary and middle school students with academic needs by providing free enrichment activities and partnering with families, schools, and volunteers to support academic progress. LEARN Works also serves area adults through GED/High School Equivalency and ESL classes. Merry revelers who pass through the store during Christmas in Davidson are invited to purchase elementary and middle grade books for donation to LEARN Works students.

Step in the store to shake off the chill with some hot chocolate and letter writing (to Santa, of course!). On your way in, say hello to local middle grades favorite, Todd Gallicano, author of Guardians of the Gryphon’s Claw and The Selkie of San Francisco.
