Dr. Adams is a licensed psychologist, health service provider, life coach, speaker, and author in Charlotte, NC. She is a member of the NC Psychological Association, Mecklenburg Psychological Association, and Association for Contextual Behavior Science. Currently, Dr. Adams works in private practice as an independent practitioner. She specializes in helping people live their Best Self by encouraging personal growth, habits of happiness and emotional self-care.
Reclaiming Your Best Self is Dr. Adams' first book. It invites readers to practice emotional self-care via mindful acceptance, allowing every situation to be what it is, thereby freeing the energy necessary to focus on thoughts that are motivating, positive, and realistic. Dr. Adams demonstrates how, by practicing mindful acceptance, a person can take control and ownership of their happiness, wellness, and success; let go of people, places, and things that are toxic; live in the moment as much as possible; and behave in ways that are consistent with a person's values.
