Want to meet some of the newest and most inspiring writers of young adult fiction? Heck YA! We thought so.

Main Street Books presents Heck YA! a book festival for young readers. Join 17 authors of middle grade and young adult fiction for an afternoon of campy literary delight in Davidson, NC.

Readers begin the afternoon with a camp-style assembly with keynote from author Gillian McDunn. Following the opening assembly, readers then attend three 50-minute author panels for lively discussions on themes and writing. The afternoon concludes with a closing ceremony and sign-around during which all 17 authors will be available to sign copies of books purchased from Main Street Books. Throughout the afternoon, attendees will be eligible to win book and swag giveaways.

We invite readers who are rising fifth graders and older to attend. Heck YA! is free, but attendees must register by deadline.
